Hunger Prevention
Our vision at MAZE 4 Morocco is a world free of poverty – and hunger is deeply intertwined with poverty. More than enough food is produced around the world to feed the global population. However, as many as 800+ million people go to bed hungry each night accounting for nearly 10% of the global population. The problem is access and availability of nutritious food and clean water, which is exacerbated by conflict, climate change, and the effects of COVID-19.
In Islam, it is incumbent upon us to feed those in need. “He is not a believer who eats his fill whilst his neighbor beside him goes hungry”. Our food aid program ranges from distribution during the Ramadan and Qurbani seasons to mobilized deliveries throughout the year. With your support, we’re able to reach vulnerable populations and communities whose food and nutrition security have been adversely affected by poverty.

Education
Equality in education is critical for the development of individuals empowering them to make an impact to society. Education has been shown to assist with poverty reduction, improving health and gender equality. Additionally, more people will be able to secure higher-paying, skilled employment and health outcomes will improve across nations. With your help, we’ve partnered with Al-Hidn based in Casablanca, Morocco to supply backpacks, clothing, reading glasses and food items to the children and surrounding communities in need at the start of every school year. Your contributions will positively impact the next generation as education is the vehicle to building a better life for these children.

Orphans and Children
It’s been reported by UNICEF that there are over 150 million orphans worldwide. Regardless of nation, children living in orphan institutions, without families, they are deprived of the most basic life experiences. They are often left without joyful, community-building experiences of holidays, birthdays and excursions. Through our connections with Al-Hidn, they’ve been able to provide these adolescents with a sense of normalcy and familial structure allowing them to thrive during these crucial years of development.
Maybe we can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone. Support an orphan child today by donating!

Women’s programs
Whether it be conflict zones, displacement camps, or impoverished communities, a constant remains: when living conditions worsen for entire communities, they worsen at even higher rates for women in developing countries. In destitute circumstances, many women are left widowed, making them the sole providers for their children and families. Their hardships are made even more severe given a limited female presence in the labor market coupled with limited education and work experience.
Continuing our partnership with Al-Hidn who has onsite training centers to provide space and tools for local women to learn marketable skills like sewing, crochet, weaving, cooking and preserving allowing them to earn money for their talented craftsmanship. After they are complete their vocational program, they are sent home with the necessary equipment to jumpstart their new career in the comfort of their own homes.

Disaster relief services
MAZE for 4 Morocco is dedicated to helping communities that have been adversely affected by disasters (natural or human inflicted) not only around the world but here at home. When disaster strikes, our goal is to respond as quickly as possible in order to get vital resources to survivors as effectively and efficiently as possible.
